Making the Submersible from the Luminor collection the flagship diving watch of Luxury Panerai Replica. It’ll keep everything we know and love about the Luminor—its cushioned case and its safety-lock crown protector—but with a unidirectional rotating bezel and boosting water resistance to 300 meters. This year, Panerai will fill that case-sized hole in the middle with seven new 44mm diver’s watch models, called the QuarantaQuattro.
Available in a variety of case materials, bezels, dials and strap colors, the new models are designed to complement the existing Submersible lineup and overlap in configuration. So if you’ve always felt neglected because the 42mm submersible looks on you like a boy’s (or girl’s) watch and the 47mm option looks better on a bodybuilder’s wrist, you’re now spoilt for choice .
Stainless Steel and Carbotech
The Panerai Submersible QuarantaQuattro (PAM01229) Replica features an all stainless steel case and case back, polished steel hour and minute hands and hour markers on a matte black dial with blue accents, between PAM00973 (42mm) and PAM01305 (47mm) of the current collection. All three watches use an attractive blue running second hand.
The Submersible QuarantaQuattro Bianco (PAM01226) has an all stainless steel case and case back, but on a matte white dial all three hands and hour markers are matte black. The running seconds subdial has white oval markers at the quarter and circular black dots at the remaining five-second intervals. The PAM01226 will complement the existing 42mm Panerai Replica Watches with a new military green rubber strap, giving it a new Alpine-inspired aesthetic. There is currently no 47mm white dial Submersible.
Finally, the case of the submersible QuarantaQuattro Carbotech Blu Abisso is made of carbon fiber composite, the lightest material Panerai offers. The cutting of the Carbotech board creates a unique mottled pattern that resembles the grain of wood, and no two cases are alike.
The crown and caseback of this Carbotech version are not made of the same high-tech material. They are made of titanium with a black DLC coating that complements the dark tone of the Best Panerai Replica Review case. Matte black hour and minute hands and hour markers sit on a dark blue dial reminiscent of the depths of the ocean. White dial accents, including a contrasting white running seconds hand, improve dial legibility, and the Carbotech label replaces the “Automatic” designation. To complete the deep-sea theme, the PAM01232 comes with a blue recycled rubber strap identical to the dial.
Three new Fake Panerai Submersible Watches references join the original Luminor three-phase, incorporating recycled scrap into the stainless steel that makes up the bulk of the watch. Despite being a recyclable material, eSteel has the same physical properties as conventional stainless steel, such as structural integrity, corrosion resistance and chemical behavior, and Panerai has cast a vote of confidence in it by extending its use.
The new eSteel Submersibles come in the exact same colors as their predecessor Luminor, Verde Smeraldo (Emerald Green; PAM01287), Grigio Roccia (Slate Grey; PAM01288) and Blu Profondo (Dark Blue; PAM01289). Each color option is expressed through matching dials, bezels, crown knurling, and two straps of the same hue.
The Swiss Panerai Replica Watches dial is glossy, with a light-to-dark, top-to-bottom gradient, like the fading of sunlight when jumping from the sea to the ground. The bezel itself is made of eSteel with a highly polished coloured ceramic insert, a first for Panerai and definitely an interesting option for a tool watch like the Submersible with its muted colours.
It uses a rich forest green — or you could even say, British racing green — for the dial and bezel, while the strap’s faded hue is reminiscent of the fading on worn-out military jackets. Polished steel hands and white dial furniture help break up the moody palette of all three versions. The High Quality Panerai Replica Watch strap is made from recycled rubber or recycled PET plastic woven into fabric.
The date window used to be a simple rectangular cutout on the dial that didn’t seem to do much for the date, but it served its purpose. Panerai have now introduced a border to frame the window that is curved at the four corners and concave in profile. A minor design update that is more likely to draw the eye toward the date.
